CONTROL IS THE MISSING PIECE
FLEXIBILITY WITHOUT CONTROL IS LIMITED
Can you move into position safely? Can you move without compensation? That is where mobility becomes useful.
UNDERSTANDING MOVEMENT QUALITY
Movement quality shows how your body manages position, control and load. Two people may be able to perform the same exercise, but the way they move can be completely different. One person may move smoothly, with control and balance. Another may compensate, shift weight, lose position or avoid certain ranges without realising it. That is why mobility needs to be assessed, not guessed.
Restrictions matter
Restrictions can come from many areas:
- Joint stiffness
- Muscle tightness
- Poor control
- Previous injuries
- Lack of strength in certain positions
- Postural habits
- Training history
- Daily lifestyle and sitting positions
The warm up approach
We assess mobility by looking at how you move, where restrictions appear and how those restrictions affect your training.
This allows us to build a plan that improves not only your range of motion, but your control, strength and confidence within that range. Because better mobility is not just about moving more.
It is about moving better.
