After almost 13 very turbulent years operating in the fitness realm as a Fitness Instructor & Personal Trainer, and having operated in at least 11 different gyms and studios, I happened upon The Warmup Studio on Ramillies Place; just 3-5 minutes walk from Oxford Circus tube station and immediately fell in love with the space!

The Warmup Studio has quote simply been a much needed breath of fresh air and island of tranquil calm tucked away and just minutes away from the chaos, hustle and bustle of central london. It is a well kitted out space that can comfortably accommodate up to 4 x trainers and their clients in any one hour period!

I have been utilising the studio to train a small handful of long-term private clients since October 2025 and have loved every minute of it!

As someone who has historically struggled with suspected autism, as well as being an introvert and not always feeling comfortable in larger gym spaces finding them often to be overwhelming and distracting, I have found the studio to be revitalising and has enabled me to coach, and my clients to train with more peaceful focus without the overpowering background noise of machines whirring, clanging and banging of iron (often unnecessary), sometimes unforgivable music choices, and gym crowds.

What the wonderful owner Chris and Marketing Manager Rahul have created with The Warmup Studio is simply magical and i cannot recommend it enough for freelance coaches and their clients alike!

Long live The Warmup Studio!

As a coach renting space here, I couldn’t ask for a better environment to work in. The facility is always clean, well equipped, and has everything needed to deliver high-quality sessions. The atmosphere is welcoming, the team is supportive, and it’s a great place for both coaches and clients. It’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space. I’d happily recommend it to any coach looking for a professional training environment.

An amazing studio in a convenient location both for PT's and people training there. The owners created a welcoming community, built on trust and respect, with great energy. Plenty of professional equipment to carry out training for all fitness needs. Been training there for half a year, and the place just keeps improving!

I went to this boutique gym recently and had a great experience! It’s incredibly central, just a short walk from Oxford Street station, but tucked away on a quiet pedestrian street, so it feels calm and private (like a little oasis in the middle of London)
The studio only allows up to six people at a time, which makes it feel really exclusive, cosy and personal. It’s such a refreshing change from busy, conventional gyms. The equipment is very well maintained, everything is spotless, and the space even smells lovely.
A genuinely premium fitness experience in a fantastic central location. I’d definitely recommend it.

This private gym is an absolute standout. Immaculately clean, beautifully maintained, and perfectly located in central London, it offers a rare combination of convenience and calm. Despite being right in the heart of the city, it’s incredibly quiet no crowds, no waiting for equipment, just a focused and motivating atmosphere.

The accessibility is excellent, making it easy to workouts into even the busiest schedule. What really sets this gym apart, though, is the feeling it gives you when you walk in: genuine excitement and motivation to get fit. It’s a space that inspires consistency, progress, and enjoyment, whether you’re just starting out or already committed to your fitness journey.

If you’re looking for a private, high-quality gym experience that delivers peace, professionalism, and real motivation, this place is a solid 10/10. Highly recommended.
This private gym was a fantastic find! It had such a cozy, welcoming feel, not like those big, scary gyms. As someone from the LGBTQIA+ community, I felt completely safe and comfortable there, which is super important to me. The staff were incredibly nice and helpful, always ready to assist without making you feel judged. It truly felt like a safe space where I could just be myself and focus on my workout. I'd definitely recommend it if you're looking for a gym that's warm, supportive, and truly inclusive. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Frequently Asked Questions

Clarity on training structure, standards and studio access. More on about us page.

1. Who Is The Warm Up Studio Designed For?

The Warm Up Studio is designed for individuals who value structured coaching, measurable progress and a calm private training environment.

Our clients include professionals, founders, executives, operators and ambitious individuals who want to improve strength, mobility, recovery and long-term physical capability.

If you prefer focused coaching over random intensity or crowded gym floors, you’ll feel at home here.

2. How do I get started?

Most new private clients begin with a Capability Assessment.

This 60–90 minute session gives us a clearer understanding of your movement, strength, mobility, recovery, lifestyle and training history before building a programme.

From there, we recommend the most suitable next step, whether that is personal training, small group training or a more independent training structure.

3. What Is The Capability Assessment?

The Warm Up Capability Assessment™ is a structured assessment designed to understand how your body moves, performs and recovers.

It looks at areas such as movement quality, mobility, strength, grip strength, balance, cardio fitness, body composition, lifestyle and recovery.

You leave with:

  • a clear Capability Score
  • key findings
  • a focused 90-day direction
  • a better understanding of where to start

This is not a trial session. It is a starting point.

4. What Expertise Is Available?

The Warm Up Studio specialises in:

  • strength and conditioning
  • movement quality
  • mobility and flexibility
  • performance development
  • injury prevention and structural balance
  • body composition and fat loss
  • long-term physical capability

All coaching centres around structured progression, good movement and measurable improvement.

5. Do I Need Previous Training Experience?

No.

Your programme is built around your current level, goals and assessment findings.

We work with people who are new to structured training, as well as experienced clients who want a more intelligent and personalised approach.

The priority is progression, not ego.
